COMPANY: Case Antiques now Case Auctions
SCENARIO: Company name change
DETAILS: They have been operating as Case Antiques since the beginning. The name created assumptions to the audience. They needed brand update to reflect name change since the focus of business is an auction house. Brand refresh needed to include a flexible layout for today's many different platforms.
We did a refresh to make the logo usable in a horizontal banner (like original) yet also be strong in a stacked version (see above). We then created a badge to be used in places such as a favicon for the site, watermark where necessary, and aa easily seen social media icon.
It's the Case Quatrefoil and also plays well as the silhouette of the dogwood flower which is a beloved flower by the group.
A brand refresh is a journey to get years of business practices and habits flipped to the new. It takes time, patience, and strategy.
